Hello! I hope this note finds you and your family well and recovered from the busy holiday season. As you know, I have been busy training for the AVON BREAST CANCER 3-DAY walk.

What is the AVON BREAST CANCER 3-DAY? It's "about turning the impossible into the possible." It's about 3,000 people making a difference in the fight against breast cancer. On the weekend of April 19th 2002, I pledged $1,900 to participate in a 60-mile walk from Boca Raton to Miami, Florida. The time is now.

Today, 1,000,000 women in America are living with undetected breast cancer.
1 out of 9 women in America will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
Over 70% of breast cancer cases occur in women with no identifiable risk factors.
Every 13 minutes the disease will claim another life.

These statistics are astonishing. We need to change the odds. I want to help, and I'd like to ask you to sponsor me on this crusade. I am counting on your generous sponsorship to help find the answers to this incredibly difficult problem. A donation from you will help me become a participant in an event that will call attention to our fight. All proceeds will go directly towards medical research and clinical care.
